Terms of Service

Version 2026-09

These terms govern your use of Insite View. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Insite View turns BIM/IFC models into a 3D digital twin reachable from a printed QR code, for the building owner and the people they share it with. You are responsible for having the right to upload each model and for the accuracy of the data it contains.

2. Trial, credits and activation

New organizations get a 14-day trial with up to three live buildings, no card required. After the trial, a building is activated with a one-time credit purchase. Prices are shown before you pay and depend on the building’s size tier.

3. The 10-year promise

When you activate a building, its QR codes and 3D twin keep working for ten years from activation. We will not charge you again to keep an activated building’s codes working during that period.

4. The read-only archive

After ten years, or if you stop paying, or if Insite View itself winds down, an activated building moves to a free read-only archive: its QR codes still open the twin, but uploads and edits are disabled. We will give reasonable notice before any change that would make a printed code stop resolving.

5. Safety — confirm before drilling

The twin is a reference, not a survey. Positions of pipes, cables and other hidden elements come from the model you uploaded and can be wrong or out of date. Always confirm with a detector and professional judgement before drilling, cutting or excavating. Insite View is not liable for damage or injury from relying on the twin without independent verification.

6. Acceptable use

  • Don’t upload models you have no right to share.
  • Don’t attempt to break access controls or rate limits.
  • Don’t use the service to store unlawful content.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of your models and documents. You grant Insite View the licence needed to process, convert, store and serve them to the people you authorize. You can export your original files and documents at any time, and deleting a building removes them.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Insite View’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version and date above change when we do, and material changes are notified in-app. Questions: legal@getinsiteview.com.

This is a template pending legal review; localized and lawyer-reviewed versions follow at launch.
